In recent observations, it has come to our attention that there are compatibility issues between Rebuy and our Pre-Order Now app. Specifically, users have reported encountering issues with the Rebuy Cart drawer and checkout functionalities. The primary concern revolves around items not being added to the cart drawer and discounts not being applied correctly on these pages, leading to frustration and inconvenience for our valued customers.
Identifying the Problem:
The integration between Rebuy and our app seems to be encountering hurdles when it comes to seamless functionality, particularly in crucial stages such as the cart drawer and checkout process. Despite efforts to ensure smooth operations, it appears that pre-order items and discounts are not being reflected as expected, which undermines the overall user experience. Pre-Order Now uses Draft Order to provide discounts including the legacy partial-payment and this won't work with Rebuy.
Suggested Workaround:
Given the significance of this issue and the impact it has on our users, we are proposing a temporary workaround to mitigate the problem until a more permanent solution is implemented. Our recommendation is to disable Rebuy integration temporarily to alleviate the issues.
Using the new selling plan Shopify Purchase Options will work on discounts because it doesn't use draft order.
