The Pre-Order Now app automatically tags orders containing pre-order items. These tags serve as essential markers, distinguishing pre-order items from regular inventory and providing customers with clear delivery timelines.
How Pre-Order Tags Work:
- When customers place orders containing pre-order items, the app automatically tags these orders with identifiers such as "Pre-order."
- This tagging system helps merchants and warehouse staff identify and prioritize pre-order shipments effectively.
Analyzing Orders for Pre-Order Items:
- The app allows you to analyze line items within each order to determine whether any are designated as pre-orders.
- This feature enables warehouse staff to accurately identify pre-order items within mixed orders that contain both pre-order and in-stock products.
There could be several reasons why your orders aren't being tagged with the "Pre-order" tag:
-
It may take a little time for the tag to be added to the order after it's placed.
-
The order was paid using express checkout methods like PayPal Express Checkout, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Shop Pay, etc., which aren't fully supported by the app yet.
-
The order was placed on a sales channel other than the Online Store.
-
The order was placed from a location where the pre-order button isn't visible. For example, the pre-order button might not work on the collection page. We recommend checking all locations where your product can be purchased. If the pre-order button isn't working in some places (this often happens with customized themes), contact customer support to resolve the issue.
In any of the above cases, the "Pre-order" tag won't be added to the order. If you've experienced something different, feel free to connect with our support team via live chat or email.
